During the month of April, we will be presenting a four week series around the apostle Paul's statement "Of First Importance" found in 1 Corinthians 15:3. In this chapter, Paul emphasizes the most important truth is that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose on the third day. Paul spends a whole chapter addressing how critical this belief should be for all believers. In this series, we will discuss how important it is to help people who are wrestling with the claims of Christ and the sacrifice He made for them on the cross in order to reconcile people back to God. If there is anything the church must learn to communicate effectively to a lost and dying world, it is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ability to conquer death. Each sermon will start with a drama presentation about a lost person grappling with the life of Christ and testimonies of people who have found peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Each week, our hope is for greater understanding that restored relationships with God hinges on embracing the resurrection.
