Chuck & Tracey Tyree

Chuck began coming to Saratoga Abundant Life with his wife Tracey about five years ago. He quickly realized that his life had been lacking the most important thing imaginable, a personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. He gave his life to Christ at Abundant Life shortly thereafter, and has since served in the Drama Ministry, Kids for Christ, the Usher Ministry, and Adventure Camp. Chuck is a former New York City Police Officer who has also worked for the State Office of Homeland Security, and now the State Divisional of Criminal Justice Services.

Tracey has been attending Saratoga Abundant Life since 1995 and also dedicated her life to Christ there. Tracey has served the Church in many of the youth ministries. She works for Saratoga Hospital and is currently pursuing a nursing degree. Chuck and Tracey are passionate about serving God and the Church body, and are excited about what God is doing at Abundant Life!

newell

Kevin & Tara Newell

The Newell’s have been almost nine years in the making. We found our church family at Saratoga Abundant Life in 2005. We were counseled and married by Pastor Joe Galarneau, became members and have been blessed with four beautiful children dedicated at SALC. Kevin works at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory and serves on the Worship Team. Tara is a real estate broker for Newell Real Estate Group and serves in the children’s ministries. Because of the love, encouragement and mentoring we have been given throughout these years from our family at SALC, our strong family structure is founded on faith, joined in love and kept by God.

This is a very exciting time at SALC and we are thrilled with where we see the Lord guiding our leadership and leading our congregation. We are so thankful to serve this body and to do God’s work together.

Col 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Doug and his wife Peggy are both native New Yorkers – Doug from upstate; Peggy from downstate.  They met and fell in love in college in Tulsa, Ok. at Oral Roberts University. A few years after moving here they joined Saratoga Abundant Life Church. It was like being awakened and coming home at the same time.  They have 4 children- 2 of which are following God’s new path for them in  college. The younger 2 are thriving here at SALC.

Doug and Peggy are leaders in the Kids For Christ ministry for children 7-12. Doug also serves as a sound technician in our church while Peggy serves as a worship team leader and singer.  They want to encourage people to seek out , and serve in, Father God’s exciting path for their lives!

Dan & Kim Sheehan

A New York City native, Dan met Kim at SUNY Oswego in 1988. And it was Kim…that “small-town girl” from Stillwater with a love for Jesus Christ…that was instrumental in leading “the city kid” to the Lord. As SALC played a huge role in their transformative years, they were married here in 1995. After four years of working in SUNY college admissions, Dan has since held leadership positions of increasing responsibility within the pharmaceutical industry.

Educated in Communications / Theatre, Dan has served as our Lighting Director since 2000, and co-produces our drama presentations and other special events at SALC. Kim serves as a Nursery leader, plays key roles in our annual Adventure Camp week, and is integrally involved in our special events (e.g. concerts / Heart to Heart events / bus trips). Blessed with two daughters, the Sheehan’s so enjoy serving and growing together in such a vibrant church body!

Bill & Michelle Elder

Elder

Bill and Michelle came to the Saratoga area in the early 90’s where they met while attending Siena College.  One summer, while chaperoning a Christian youth camp, Bill was asked to help out with the drama ministry where he played the role of a young man whose life is transformed by Christ.  This experience caused his own transformation and he accepted Jesus before the end of the camp.  He continues to utilize this gifting as an active member of the drama team.  Bill and Michelle were married in 1998s by Pastor Joe and have two girls, Molly and Katie.  Bill and Michelle are both teachers in the Lake George School District and have used their passion for young people to serve in the children’s ministries at Abundant Life.  Both are excited to make God known to the young people in the church.
